Williams AV has revealed updates to its Infinium range, with a focus on education settings.

Exhibiting at the InfoComm 2026 show in Las Vegas, the company used the opportunity to showcase its work to expand access to audio in classrooms and public spaces.

The company launched the Infinium last August. It is a modular system designed for use in large-scale public and commercial venues, offering assistive listening, audio description, and language interpretation at the touch of a button.

It can also be used in a restaurant, a theatre, and a classroom.

Now, the expanded range means Williams AV customers can choose large-scale Auracast deployments, outdoor installations, and installations in educational establishments. People visiting InfoComm, which ran from June 17-19, were able to try the system and also chat with experts.

The first product is the Infinium Flex Bundle, which offers FM, Wi-Fi, and Auracast Broadcast Audio in one package. It includes an FM+ T55C D transmitter and the Infinium CT1 controller and transmitter. When installed, this Dante-compatible system allows visitors to venues to hear audio via receivers, smartphones, hearing aids, cochlear implants, earbuds, headphones, and Auracast-compatible receivers. The receivers are sold separately, and the Flex Bundle is available only in the Americas.

The Infinium T1 Transmitter, which is installed on walls and ceilings in venues, is now available in a black finish. This means it can blend in more fully in theatres and other similar venues.

Its model number is BA-T1BK, and it offers the same experience as its sister model.

In addition, Williams AV says its T1 transmitters now include a universal wall- and ceiling-mount with multiple mounting options and an auto-snap design that simplifies installation.

Coming later this summer is an updated version of the T1 Transmitter, which now has an enclosure which has an IP66 rating, protecting the transmitter against dust and high-pressure water exposure. This makes it suitable for outdoor use such as stadiums, public transport settings, theme parks, campuses, and large outdoor venues that require accessible audio.

This autumn, Williams AV will launch its new Auracast Headphone Receiver. The model number is BA-HR1, which will simplify Auracast accessibility for venues by connecting directly to the Auracast without going via an Assistant app. Instead, it will automatically discover nearby Auracast streams, and users can choose which one they want to listen to.

Williams AV says it will meet the volume and intelligibility requirements of ADA assistive listening standards thanks to its clear, high-quality audio.

And the final launch at InfoComm was the TeachLogic SP-5000, a new vertical line speaker array that it says will bring proven large-venue sound technology into the classroom. This will be available in the autumn, and Williams AV says its wide horizontal audio dispersion helps ensure every seat receives consistent audio coverage without gaps or hot spots, helping students hear instruction more clearly regardless of where they sit.

Tony Braun, Vice President of North American Sales and Marketing at Williams AV, is delighted with the new product ranges, which he says are based on feedback they have received.

“We spend a lot of time listening to customers and understanding the challenges they’re trying to solve,” he said.

“Whether it’s expanding accessible audio to new environments, supporting more listener preferences, or helping every student hear clearly in the classroom, these additions are a direct response to what we’re hearing from the market.”
