A fab four of new professional-grade Auracast products has been unveiled by Bettear at the InfoComm 2026 show in Las Vegas.
The new range complements the existing products, adding new capabilities to venues looking to make the most of the Bluetooth LE Audio technology. It also seeks to address some items that have popped up on people’s wishlists as seen in the initial installations.
“InfoComm 2026 marks a defining moment for Auracast technology in professional AV,” says Itamar Gabbay, Bettear’s CEO.
“Each product and capability we are announcing solves a real pain point – whether that’s deploying multiple language streams simultaneously, synchronising multimedia across dozens of exhibits, or empowering distributed teams with virtual control and dispatching.”
He adds: “Bettear’s ecosystem is now the most complete Auracast solution in the market.”
The company has always been looking at real-world usage of Auracast because being an assistive listening technology. Its original RTX could be used as a speech-to-text instrument and as both a receiver and a transmitter. A use case would be for a tour guide: they can relay their information into a microphone connected to the RTX, while other users can receive the Auracast via their receiver unit or their own device. We experienced this at EUHA last October, and it worked incredibly well.
Now it has a clutch of new releases aimed at helping venues improve their Auracast offering.
Hit for six! Overcoming the language barriers with the Caster X

As we experienced at EUHA last year, one of the most important use cases for Auracast is offering different streams to tap into. While many venues will use this as an opportunity to provide audio descriptions or dialogue-enhanced tracks, in some places, offering translations is important.
The lectures at EUHA were, for example, in German and English.
This is where the Caster X comes in. It can offer six different Auracast mono streams from a single device. The company says this is a breakthrough for multilingual and multi-channel deployments and could be used in airports, at cultural events, in sports arenas, conference centres, houses of worship, and international events.
So while airports and railway stations can focus on multiple languages for announcements, if installed at sporting events, fans could have home- or away-team commentary, access to the referee’s microphone, general announcements, and matchday stats.
Introducing it, Bettear notes: “For the first time, a single Auracast transmitter can serve multilingual venues – eliminating the cost and complexity of deploying separate devices for each language channel. Additionally, it features an integrated internal antenna with options for external, directional antennas to achieve optimised RF control, invisible installation, and localised precision coverage.”
It can cover a range of 100m, and promises low-latency streaming of under 40mS, and has both analogue and Dante input modes. It also has flexible Antenna Options: Built-in internal or external antenna support for extended range and precision coverage control.
There are two colour options: white or black.
Introducing the RTX GO receiver

The RTX GO receiver is a small receiver unit that can be used all day: its battery life is up to 16 hours.
Unlike its big brother, the new RTX Go lacks a screen and additional settings that can lead to confusion when selecting an Auracast stream, especially for people new to the technology. By eliminating that screen, people can connect via Tap-to-Connect (NFC) using Bettear’s B-PASS system. The streams can also be set by the venues using the Stream Lock and List Lock.
There are still volume buttons to control the volume, and it has sockets for a personal loopset or wired headphones. It is also powered by a USB-C socket, meeting the universal access requirements.
It also has a USB sound card mode for enhanced speech-to-text accuracy.
Bettear suggests use cases for venues such as tour guiding, museums, visitor centres, theatres, classrooms, and courtrooms.
Here comes the POD, a multipurpose Auracast transmitter

The third new hardware item Bettear unveiled at Infocomm 2026 was the POD, a multipurpose Auracast transmitter designed for small- and medium-sized spaces that need an on-the-go Auracast solution.
Users can connect either by scanning a QR code or tapping NFC, making it straightforward to link the POD to a listening device such as headphones, earbuds, hearing aids, or Cochlear.
The POD has analogue inputs, and it is USB-C powered. If the POD transmitter is to be a permanent installation, it can be wall-, ceiling-, or desktop-mounted.
Bettear says it can be used in classrooms, meeting rooms, courtrooms, houses of worship, and corporate environments.
Timecode allows for sycnhronisation
Bettear has always been an advocate for using Auracast in museums, particularly for self-guided tours. Using NFC technology, it has been possible to connect receiver units to audio detailing exhibits, allowing people to hear more about what they are looking at.
Now it is going a step further by providing Timecode, a Synchronised Multimedia Experience.
Powered by the Caster X transmitter and RTX transceiver, visitors receive crystal-clear audio detailing information about the exhibit in front of them – a statue, a painting, a sculpture, for example – in their preferred language. It can be flawlessly aligned with video or multimedia content.
Up to 50 exhibits can be set up from one Timecode. Bettear says that, by using timecode technology embedded in the Auracast stream, the system can offer synchronised, language-personalised audio from a single installation. The company says this means venues can welcome international visitors without compromise.
Suggested use cases for the Timecode include museums, cultural venues, amusement parks, and visitor centres
Updates to Bettear’s Hive Central
Also announced at InfoComm was an update to its Hive Central management software. This now includes Virtual Terminals enabling the ability to control and dispatch audio streams, tours, and device operations from any networked location.
A company using a Bettear system can configure its Virtual Terminal to allow multiple users, with role-based controls. This includes remote dispatching of stream programming, language switching, and tour sequences.
This should make life easier for single operators up to AV teams, as they seek to ensure the Bettear range works seamlessly: it has full integration with CASTER, RTX, SmartHive, and B-PASS device management.
Bettear says that together with Hive Central’s existing smart tour builder, zone management, firmware control, and device licensing management, Virtual Terminals complete the platform’s vision of a fully intelligent, decentralised Auracast infrastructure.
