Small is beautiful, and the new ReSound Savi hearing aids being released from GN promise to be just that. Oh, and they come with Auracast as standard.

They have just been released to the European market later this month, and come in two new styles: a custom In-The-Canal aid, and a Completely-in-Canal aid. Both are wireless, so they can be virtually invisible once in place.

The Savi range includes a rechargeable battery that will last all day, even with streaming. If it is like the ReSound Vivias that we currently wear, at the end of a day that has included a lot of Auracast streaming the battery will still be at 50%, even with intensive use.

GN says the weatherproof nanocoating covers every part of the Savi aid, making it extra durable. Handy if you sweat a lot, especially in humid conditions. And it also promises a comfortable fit, with special technology that boosts sound quality for conversations, calls, and streaming in noisy environments. This should mean that users will have better speech understanding in just about every situation, hearing with ease and feeling included in conversations.

Its website promises a worry-free hearing experience, greater clarity and a natural fit.

A range of colours are available for the shell, so users can find a favourite.

And Savi’s Auracast support?

GN is firmly committed to Auracast, promising to add it to all new releases going forward. This is great news, as Auracast really is a game changing technology wherever it is used.

The company’s Smart 3D phone app, which can be used to control the hearing aid, has a built-in Auracast assistant which makes it easy to connect to an Auracast stream. It’s just a case of opening the app, pressing the Auracast bar at the bottom of the screen and choosing the stream you want to hear. That’s it.

Because Auracast uses the Bluetooth LE Audio standard, it doesn’t drain the hearing aid battery as much as Bluetooth Classic does.

What GN says about the new Savi range

Peter Justesen, President, Hearing division at GN, is looking forward to customers getting hold of the new Savi range: “We want more people to experience the difference that advanced hearing technology can make in everyday life. With our new ReSound Savi custom styles, we are strengthening our essential range to meet more individual needs and preferences.

“Together with our industry-leading fitting advancements, these developments give people easier access to great technology that simply helps them hear better and feel more connected.”

When will the Savi be available?

ReSound Savi In-The-Canal and Completely-In-Canal, along with the new ReSound Smart Fit 2.3 fitting software and the Beltone equivalents, Beltone Commence and Beltone Solus Max 2.3, launched initially in the US, Austria and Germany on February 19, 2026, with more markets to follow in the coming months.

This introduction will also include new AllFit domes in 19 different sizes and shapes.

NAL-NL3 support within ReSound Smart Fit 2.3 is planned for introduction in a later software release this spring.
