Hearing technology firm GN has unveiled its latest hearing aid in the Super Power category – the ReSound Enzo IA. Designed for people with severe to profound hearing loss, it is billed as the world’s smallest rechargeable Super Power hearing aid.
And GN says the Enzo IA tackles the number one challenge for users in this category –understanding speech in noisy environments – without compromising on comfort or battery life. A single charge provides up to 28 hours of use – or 20 hours with media streaming – giving users confidence to get through the day without battery anxiety.

GN says that understanding speech in noisy situations, such as a bar, a crowded shop or a stadium, is an issue for Super Power users. The ReSound Enzo IA lets severe to profound hearing loss users to access the latest technologies available, including advanced noise management and what it claims is the world’s best feedback management system.

This comes from GN’s unique 360 chip. The company says it can analyse environmental sounds in real time, using machine-learning artificial intelligence, allowing the device to classify and adapt to different acoustic environments for the best all-round listening experience – the Intelligence Augmented (IA) in the Enzo’s name.
And the Clear Focus narrow beamformer spotlights the person speaking to the hearing aid wearer. GN claims this eliminates distractions and provides a significant 2.7 dB Signal-to-Noise Ratio improvement over legacy devices.

Yes, the ReSound Enzo IA has Auracast
Aurahear is delighted that GN has ensured the hearing aids have Auracast and Bluetooth LE Audio technology as standard. It’s another step forward in making this brilliant technology even more accessible.
People will be able to pair their Enzo IA hearing aids to the ReSound app on their smartphone and, at a touch of a button, tune in to an Auracast, or the company’s accessories including the MultiMic+ which is Auracast-capable and can pick up a loop (Telecoil).
The TV Streamer+ is a small, matchbox-sized box that plugs into the audio output of a television and can stream audio direct to hearing aids and Auracast-enabled headsets.
