The Netherlands has been announced as the partner country for the 70th International Congress of Hearing Care Professionals (EUHA).

The event is scheduled to take place in Hanover this October, and includes the largest hearing healthcare expo in the world, along with a busy seminar programme where the latest audiology findings will be shared.

The Netherlands is said to be an ideal choice due to its geographical proximity, situated just over 200km (124 miles) from Hanover Messe, where the Congress will be held.

EUHA (European Union of Hearing Aid Acousticians) says that the partnership will be integrated into various programme items and highlights throughout the three days of the exhibition, including expert presentations from Dutch audiologists as part of the scientific programme.

A dedicated area in the EUHA Live Zone, known as the Dutch Partner Corner, will be established to facilitate discussions and networking with representatives from the partner country.

And there will be a party night on the Thursday, which this year will have a Dutch theme.
