Audeara is celebrating the expansion of its work via a new partnership in Taiwan.

The hearing health company might be based Down Under, but it is working across the world and is launching a new partnership with Clinico Inc following the successful launch of the Clinico Sound Earbuds CS1.

As a result, Audeara’s Auracast technology will be integrated directly into Clinico’s own product ecosystem, with two new Auracast-enabled devices set to be sold under the Clinico brand.

The initial $164,000 deal includes Clinico-branded packaging and accessories, and a dedicated interface tool.

A key part of this rollout is the BT-03 Audio Broadcaster: an Auracast transmitter similar in size to a regular chocolate bar that can turn televisions and laptops into Auracasters. The AU$399 (£210) gadget boasts HMDI input, and digital audio (SPIF) in and out ports. We currently have one on our testing bench – look out for a review soon.

Audeara says the BT-03 is designed to integrate seamlessly with existing AV systems, enable scalable deployment across multi-room and multi-venue environments, and support enhanced listening experiences for all users.

This means that this piece of Australian engineering serves as the infrastructure for Auracast, allowing public venues such as universities, cinemas, and clinical settings to stream high-quality audio to an unlimited number of receivers, including hearing aids, headphones, Cochlear, and earbuds.

The company also makes earbuds which can be used as a listening aid with personalised sound, and an Auracast microphone, which can also act as a transmitter.

By embedding its Australian-engineered audio capabilities into international partner lines, Audeara is positioning itself as a primary technology partner in the rapidly growing Auracast ecosystem.

Dr James Fielding, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Audeara, believes these partnerships are the key to moving Auracast from a niche technology to a household standard: “The receipt of purchase orders from Clinico reflects the continued strength of our partnership and the shared opportunity we identified as part of Clinico’s broader strategic investment.

“Our Auracast transmitters are already deployed throughout leading global universities, and these programmes represent the next step in scaling that infrastructure through white-label integration to target very lucrative consumer markets.

“Having just returned from Integrated System Europe in Barcelona, meeting with a number of global Auracast product leaders, it was clear that there is a growing appetite for our technology offering, leaving Audeara very well placed to capitalise on the opportunity to transform listening and communication experiences.”

He added: “We believe Auracast requires both infrastructure and devices to achieve meaningful adoption, and partnering with Clinico enables us to accelerate deployment within established regional channels.”
