Visitors to InfoComm 2026, held in Las Vegas, had an opportunity to see the latest Auracast products from Listen Technologies, the sister company to UK-based Ampetronic.
The companies make the Auri Auracaster system, which launched in early 2025 and has been installed at venues across the globe ever since.
While the products on show at InfoComm were previewed earlier this year at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) show in Barcelona, this was the first opportunity for many US-based delegates to try them.
Auri initially launched with a white transmitter, and this has now been joined by a black version. This can blend in more easily with the surroundings, especially in venues where the auditorium is darkened during a performance or film screening.
Officially known as the AURI-TX2N-B-A0 Auri 2 Channel transmitter, it is identical to its sibling apart from colour. At first glance, it looks like a Wi-Fi access point installed on walls or ceilings, but instead, it offers Auracast to venues.
The second item showcased at InfoComm 2026 was the LA-470 Auri Ear Phone/Neck Loop Lanyard. Designed for people who have a Telecoil in their hearing aids or cochlear implants, it can be borrowed from a venue when people arrive and returned when the play, concert or film is over. It’s a neat solution that ensures compatibility with the Auri ecosystem by plugging into the Auri Auracast receiver unit. It has a 3.5mm jack so an additional pair of wired headphones can be attached. This is ideal for venues wanting to test the equipment before it is handed out to customers – they can be sure sound is being output.
A third item showcased at InfoComm 2026 was a 16-dock carry case, ideal for people who will be taking Auracast with them, such as setting it up for a conference hall or a village hall that has been turned into a temporary theatre. It can also be used by venues that want to keep the transmitters in a secure location after an event.
It features stiff foam that securely holds up to 16 Auri transmitters in transit and will be welcomed by many AV operators.
